Art San Diego’s theme this year is [COLLIDE], which represents the intersection of disciplines and nationalities

A cultural extravaganza filled with various mediums will take over San Diego’s Balboa Park this weekend, November 7-10. Beautiful and thrilling creations from over 60 exhibitors will ignite your senses as you explore ten art labs and the works of spotlight artists and contemporary artists.

In its fifth annual production, Art San Diego’s theme this year is [COLLIDE], which represents the intersection of disciplines and nationalities, in film, fashion, dance, music and digital productions. Four Districts will categorize a range of disciplines: Contemporary Art, Contemporary Product & Furniture Design, Mid-Century & Modern Art and Solo-Artist Curated Booths.

This year’s Visual Brand Identity was inspired by the installation piece of the Curator & Artist Becky Guttin. Marking the first exhibition of its kind at OMA, We Can Work It Out transformed the lobby of the Oceanside Museum of Art with a site-specific installation that invited visitors into OMA’s vibrant culture through the lens of Becky Guttin’s colorful personal, cultural and familial constructions of home. Guttin recreated this exhibition at the entrance of ART SAN DIEGO 2013.
